What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain And Colon Infection?

I have had pain in my stomach for the last 48 hours, more so on my left lower side. Went to an emergency room last night and the tested my blood and took some xrays, results were , blood fine and nothing showed up on the xrays. They gave me pain killers and said it was a colon infection and I must ride it out At 2 pm this afternoon I ate for the first time since yesterday, a sandwich, 45 minutes later I started feeling that same pain from yesterday come back, All day the pain has been there but not extreme Please help Sebastian

Hello,

It may be due to colon infection.

For that you may require complete hemogram, ultrasound abdomen after surgeon consultation.

You may require antibiotics after consultation.

Take hygienic food and water.

Keep your self hydrated and take balanced diet
