hi I have had some lower abdomen pain on my left side im thinking my ovary area. it gets worse as the day goes on and is painful at night time but not first think in the morning. iv been to the doctor andim having an ultrasound this avo. my husband and I haven t been very sexually active only a couple of times in the last couple of months. a pregnancy test done at the doctor can up neg
The pain in the left power abdomen in a young female patient which is not the first thing in the morning on getting up but increasing as the day passes by can be due to : Twisting of the ovarian cyst, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, Psycho-somatic including IBS.
This is a bit weird symptoms and needs detailed investigations. Go for the detailed blood, urine and stool tests. CT scan of the abdomen including that of pelvis. Medicines for stress or anxiety if you have. a Course of an antibiotic and supportive medicines.
