What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain In Children?

My 15 year old son complains of having sharp pains in his lower stomach as well as his feet and lower part of both legs. He was sent home from school because he threw up during P.E. I don t believe it s the flu because he still has his appetite . Should I be concerned?

Hi welcome to health care magic....

Your child having acute abdomen pain along with vomitting....

So here case is acute gastroenteritis....

It might be bacterial , viral or even parasitic also....

USG abdomen, abdominal tenderness examination , CBC has to be done as primary work up...

If HB low than albendazole also given empirically...

For vomitting ondensetrone syrup or tablet can be given...

If needed ciprofloxacin like broad spectrum antibiotic given....
