What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain In Pregnancy?

Hi, I am now 30 weeks of pregnancy. But in the scan it says 28 weeks. the placenta is posterior grade 1. i dont find much movements of my baby. the heart beat is 135 bpm. i have pain in the lower abdomin and also in the scan baby head is at the bottom. kindly suggest.

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion your scan is normal.Placenta posterior and grade1 is normal.And most common presentation is fetal head been in lower segment that is bottom of uterus.As all findings are normal and the fetal heart rate is good the pain abdomen might be muscular origin.Take good rest.Take simple paracetamol.Drink upto 2 to 3 litres of water.If pain abdomen still persists get examination done by your gynaecologist.
