What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain, Nausea And Lower Back Pain?

My daughter is having lower abdomenal pain, nausae, lower back pain, had bllod work done so far has found out her liver count is elevated and also her white bllod count is elevated, I am wondering what may be causing this? She is has had a ultrasound, now just waiting for results

Hi.
Thanks for your query for your daughter.

Noted the history of pain in lower abdomen, nausea, low back pain , elevated liver and blood counts on blood tests and waiting for the reports of Ultrasonography.

The possibility is that your daughter is suffering Hepatic liver abscess with leaking into the peritonitis, causing the counts to raise.
Anyways ultrasonography will tell us in details. '

Till then get her started on proper antibiotic, metronidazole.
Rest of the treatment will depend upon the reports and action of the medicines ...

Till then start her on Hepato-protective medicines .

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Raised liver enzymes suggest damage to the liver cells or hepatocytes.
Elevated white blood cell counts suggests infection.
Pain in lower abdomen, lower back ache and nausea are non-specific findings and can occur in number of conditions.
Thus, ultrasound abdomen report has to be awaited for to know the status of abdominal organs and thus further management can be done.
