What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain On The Right Side?

HI, I am having mild pain in my lower right abdomon. I usually have this pain when I have an ovarian cyst, but it is not the time of the month that I should be going through this. I m not sure that it is severe enough for me to go to a hospital but the number one thing that popped up was to go to the hospital. I have noticed that I ve been pretty nauseous lately but have had no fever. Any suggestions?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the pain is mild and not increasing in its severity then you may not need to be seen at the hospital but can schedule an appointment to see your doctor for assessment.

There are different possible causes for abdominal pain, it can be related to a structure in the area or can be referred pain.

Your doctor can examine you and may suggest imaging (ultrasound), to find the cause.
I hope this helps
