What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain While Sexually Active?

Hello. I have lower abdominal pain so painful it almost feels like it s burning. I have been having unprotected sex for 2 months now, and I am ovulating. What could this pain be from, and do I need to go to the hospital? The pain went away once when I was done a bowel movement.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
After going through the description, it appears that you might be suffering from irritable bowel syndrome as you say pain disappears after bowel movement.
It doesn't seem to be associated with uterus, although you are sexually active.
You can take antispasmodics and observe for some time, if it gets better.
If it doesn't, Kindly consult Gastroenterologist and get evaluated.
