Hi ! Good evening. i am Dr Shareef answering your query.
If I were your doctor, I would have done a detailed physical examination of your with special attention to your abdomen, along with some basic investigations like a CBC, an LFT, blood sugar, a routine urine test, a thyroid function test for your weight gain, and an ultrasound abdomen as a base line investigation. Further management would depend on the results of physical examination and investigation reports. Till then, I would advise you to go for an anti spasmodic drug along with a proton pump inhibitor drug.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.
Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
