What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain?

I get severe lower abdominal contractions... Pains a lot n stays for long period of time... Comes rarely but seriously.... I am said to have obsessive compulsive disorder n anxiety neurosis.... Kindly suggest me some medicines... Note: i am nt depending on any medicines since two years for any of the disorders i mentioned..

HI. This is good that you are not having compulsive obsessive disorder at the moment.
The cause of the pain which is severe and serious , is intermittent and in the lower abdomen as contractions is suggestive of IBS- Irritable Bowel Syndrome or intestinal obstruction, worms infestation.
The diagnosis is possible on good clinical examination during the attack, X-ray of the abdomen in the standing position, Enteroclysis and CT scan of the abdomen.
