What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain?

left side cramps lower side also on right side have bruise on upper side near stomach retaining water had 3 stokes 2 years ago massive plugged up bowel issues .using polyethylene glycol ..retaining water for long time finally got water pills last week and\- potassium-pill.. question is why is my left lower side area getting sharp pains ..and bruise on my stomach area .. dr here do not help good I complained pior on stokes and they do not listen to me ended up having 3 stokes massive and other issues because I tell them issues nothing like this retaining water for years until last week

Hello,

There can be several causes for that.

For that you may require complete hemogram, ultrasound abdomen, urine analysis after physician consultation.

Till then you can take tablet acetaminophen for pain.

Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.

Take soft diet and keep your self hydrated.

Maintain proper hygiene
