What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain?

I am experiencing pain in lower right quadrant of stomach. It is intermittent pain. It comes and goes. I ve had it for over a month. I have had a CT scan done and my appendix, gall bladder and other organs seem to be fine. I have no constipation. Daily bowel movements. No heartburn. I am a non-smoker, non-drinker and not overweight. Any ideas on what may be causing this pain. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, the pain could be colicky and this is because of the disturbance in intestines. Try taking fiber diet and any over the counter painkillers preferably antispasmodic.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
