What Causes Lower Back And Pelvic Pain After A Fall?

I almost fell in my garden about 3 weeks ago. I went to my chiropractor because I twisted my back and hurt my neck. I had 2 adjustments on Monday and Tuesday last week. Since then, I have had some very low back pain and low pelvic pain. It subsides, but never goes away. My neck and shoulders still hurt, but I hope that will go away in time. The neck pain has caused headaches every day, but not as severe as at first. I don t have pain with urination or frequency--that seems normal. I haven t noticed any different color or smell either. I just don t feel normal. I have been on Crestor for over a year and have wondered if this medication is having adverse affects.....I have been having some joint pain for several weeks and do not sleep very well. Is it possible to quit taking the Crestor to see whether this is a problem? I have been very healthy and am not liking the way I feel

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Crestor belong to a group of medications called statins which are indicated in the management of poor or high cholesterol levels. It functions by reducing levels of "bad" cholesterol ( LDL) and triglycerides in the blood, while increasing levels of "good" cholesterol (HDL). Among it side effects, body aches and sleeplessness have been described among others which may explain the symptoms you have been feeling for long. However, these effects are always mild and may vary from person to person.
Lower back/pelvic pain and neck pain after a fall may not be caused by your drug.A stress/strain or even a fracture in severe cases after a fall is possible. You may see your Doctor to take an X ray of the lower back to exclude a fracture. You may try the following:
-Rest well
-Take a pain drug like aceclofenac
-A myorelaxant like miorel
-You may also apply a pain gel like dynapar gel on the painful spots.
If the problem persist, you see the Doctor for evaluation.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
