What Causes Lower Back Pain And Hip Cramps After Intercourse?
I normally have regular periods lasting 6 days and heavy flow 4 of the 6 days. This bleeding came 2 days before my period normally starts. This month I had a 2 day light period brown then light pinkish orange, Only needed a panty liner, then I had sex 2 days after the light bleeding stopped then the next morning had a dark red brown spot just once. Now its been 4 days since the last spot and I m experiencing headache spikes that come and go with lower back pain ,and hip cramps. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 years does this sound like I could be? With my son I had periods until I was 5 months pregnant and didn t register on a pregnancy test until 5 months ! But that was 11 years ago...
hi healthcare magic user, it looks like early pregnancy. please get a urine pregnancy test for confirmation. During Pregnancy if you had intercourse due to local irritation, prostaglandins released from cervix and prostaglandins from semen you might be experiencing lower back pain and abdominal cramps. If pregnancy test is negative then you need evaluation get pelvic ultrasound done to rule out ovarian cyst, polyp. TSH levels, complete blood count. so that I can guide you further.
