What Causes Lower Back Pain And Nausea Post Tubal Ligation?

I am 36 years old. I had my tubes tied almost 13 years ago, but now I am almost 3 months late for my period and have taken 2 hpt and both came out neg. I have been having a few symptoms of pregnancy. IE: lower back pain, heartburn, excessively tired, emotional, breast tenderness, and slight nausea on occasion. What else could be going on?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If you got tubal ligation and pregnancy test is negative then there is no reason for you to believe that the symptoms are due to pregnancy. The symptoms mentioned above are not specific and they don't indicate pregnancy. These are non specific symptoms which can't be attributed to one condition and would need thorough investigation and review with your physician.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
