What Causes Lower Back Pain And Tingling Sensation In The Arm?

I have sporadic pain in my lower back. It has been going on for several years but recently is getting much more frequent. At first it would only happen every few weeks or months but now it is almost daily. The pain seems to happen after I have been up walking, then sit down. It is throbbing, breath-taking pain that only lasts for about ten to twenty seconds. I have not noticed any problems in my legs. This week, however, I have begun to notice tingling in my left arm, from the shoulder to the thumb.

Hi,

It can be lumbosacral pivd. You need to take MRI of lumbosacral spine and consult neurosurgeon for examination and advise on treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
