What Causes Lower Back Pain And Tingling Sensation In The Leg?

I have lower back pain and about three months ago I have began to not walk properly. I thought at first that my left leg was just shorter than my right leg, My leg always feels like it is asleep and it tingles. Also when I walk I can t walk in a straight way, and I weave from left to right. It feels like I have no mobility. Currently I have started wearing these type of stockings to keep the lower part of my leg from swelling all the time. Six months ago I had an MRI taken on my back, but my Care Doctor at the VA no longer works there. I have mentioned this to my new Care Doctor that I never found out what the MRI showed.

Hello,

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

Consult a physician and get evaluated.

We have to rule out possible causes like spine related problems like prolapsed disc or nerve compression.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
