What Causes Lower Back Pain Associated With Tingling Sensation In Left Foot?

I am a 75 yrs old female. My symptoms are as follows- lower back pain associated with pins and needles in my left foot radiating above the ankle. There is also a sharp pain in the same leg just below the buttock area. MRIs show no evidence of trapped nerves. What further tests are required to explain these symptoms?

The condition is called sciatica. Kindly consult the nearby orthopedist. Do you have any past history of hysterectomy?
