What Causes Lower Back Pain While Having Mild Scoliosis?

Hi, I have been having a bit of lower back pain. I was in a car accident last year and when they did the xrays, they told me that I had slight scoliosis. This was surprising because I was 25 and had never known. My spine curved to the left in my upper vertebrae, straightened in the middle, and curved to the right at the bottom vertebrae. Now that I am having some pain, what do you suggest I do?

Hi.

It's unlikely for mild scoliosis to cause back pain.

This could be just muscle spasm but depending on its severity it could be a disk problem in your spine and for that reason if it continues to bother you I'd suggest you ask your doctor for an MRI scan of your spine to check that out
