What Causes Lower Back Pain With Numbness On The Outer Thigh?

Hi. I have been experiencing numbness and tingling in my outer left thigh. Over the last few days i have also had pain in my lower back and side. I exercise regularly and thought it could be as a result of the leg raisers i did that morning. Please advice .

Hello,

The tingling and numbness is usually due to neuropathy pain.

There might be possibility of nerve compression as well.

You need to take multivitamin B tablet.

I suggest you investigate with random blood sugar estimation to exclude diabetes and x ray lumbar spine to exclude bulging disc that might cause nerve compression.

You can revert back with x ray report once done.

Hope I have answered your question

Let me know if I can assist you further
