What Causes Lower Left Abdominal Pain Along With Bladder Pressure?

I have a question I don t know if this is a urgent matter or not and if I should seek emergency care asap but I have a sharp pain on the left side below my stomach. If I lay a certain way I can feel the pain, also when I have to use the bathroom I feel pressure on my bladder which is not normal and when I have a bowe movement that pain hurts more when trying to use the restroom. I ve taken ibuprofen and it didn t work and a heating pad but the pain is still there. I ve never had this pain before idk what else do to.

Hi,

The pain could be due to colitis as you have pain when passing a bowel movement (bm).

Passing urinary stones can also give such pain.

Drink plenty of water. Take cranberry juice or supplement. Take Mefenamic Acid for the pain.

If constipated should take gentle laxatives such as senna, a stool softener such as lactulose, and probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora.

If still in pain should go to the ER.
