What Causes Lower Left Back Pain And Lower Abdominal Pain?
lower left back pain (as though kidney), which has traveled to front abdomen, too. first occurred 5am, took pepto bismol thinking was from food at dinner. no relief whether standing/sitting, etc. then took pain pill. about 15 minutes later, threw up but no food. finally about 8:30 was able to lay down and eventually napped off and on. Pain subsided and mostly went away, though pain in back remained noticeable, but bearable. By around 11 ate a small yogurt and cup of coffee. seemed ok. by about 2 was hungry; tried some soup. about 4o min later, pain came back. and is now pretty severe again.

Yes, it might be from the food you have taken but if you are in severe pain than better to call the ER to get medical help and to do an abdominal ultrasound for safety.
