What Causes Lower Leg Pain With History Of Blood Clots?

i have been having lower leg pain and im not sure what caused it i have a history of blood clots on both sides of my family and i am on a birth control pill that puts me a higher risk for blood clots i was just wondering if there was a way to tell if i do in fact have a blood clot with out going to see a doctor
