What Causes Lower Leg Swelling When Diagnosed With Duhring S Disease?

HI, I am a 51 yr old female, who is diagnosed with Duhrings auto immune, a skin manifestation of celiac. I currently have swelling in my right leg from the knee to the ankle, with cramping and pain sometimes, I take Dapsone 25 mg daily, protonix 40 mg daily and vitamins, I do have a good peripheal pulses in that leg, what do you suggest?

Hello,

It can be a dependent edema. Other possibilities like venous thrombosis also be ruled out. Consult a general surgeon and get evaluated. An ultrasound with Doppler is required to make a diagnosis.
