What Causes Lower Right Quadrant Pain?

I am a 64 y.o. white female. I have had pain in my lower right quandrant( hip area for 6days. A CT scan was normal. Blood work was good as far as ck ng red and white blood cells and kidneys. I have been in terrible pain. I was told to drink Mylanta. Take antiflammatories and and 8 ibuprofen 3x day. None of this has done much good. I only took one dose of ibuprofen and am taking Miloxacam. Even went to my chiropractor 3 x for treatment of 3 pinced nerves. I really need some answers.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Considering your age, gender, etc, I would like to suggest:
1. X-Ray Hip
2. Complete Blood Count
3. Blood Estrogen level
4. C-Reactive Protein
5. Lower Abdomen USG

To get relief from pain, I would like to suggest some medications:
1. Tramadol 100mg per day every 6 hours.

I also suggest to follow these guidelines:
1. Hot compress on the affected area
2. Drink water adequately.

Please inform
1. If there is burning sensation during urination
2. If there is vaginal secretion, including bleeding
3. If the pain is related to after meal taken.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
