What Causes Lower Right-sided Abdominal Pain When Diagnosed With An Ovarian Cyst?

i am a 18 year old female and I am in pain as I type. I was recently told I have an ovarian cyst and given medicine to make it go away/down. I went to the OB-GYN last week, he checked me out and told me to come back in a week. Any reason he would tell me to come back in a week? I intially had pain at the bottom of my stomach which made me go to the hospital and they diagnosed me with an ovarian cyst. This pain I have now is on the lower right side of my stomach close to my lower back. I don t know whats going on, I am scared that I might have Gallstones or the cyst may be bad.

there is no need for you to worry. lower right side abdominal pain can be due to an ovarian cyst or other causes can be a renal stone too. you should get an ultrasound done for the confirmation.
