What Causes Lower Stomach Pain And Dizziness During Intercourse?

I have been married since last two years. I really used to enjoy sex with my husband before my daughter was born. She is one yr now but still I have no interest in making love not even kissing. Sometimes I experience pain in my lower stomach during the process and extreme dizziness and weakness afterwards. Needless to mention that I experience low mood, fatigue, anger, negativity, lack of interest, low self esteem since her birth. And increasing day by day. I am try to wean my baby and thinking of consulting a psychiatrist please advise what to do?

Hi

The first thing you may require at this juncture is to wean your baby off your breast milk, which is a normal process and it is about the right time to do so, without depriving your baby of any vital nutrients.

Breastfeeding mothers undergo a wave of hormonal changes and this is normal. Once the breastfeeding has been discontinued and your breasts stop producing milk, wait for about 2 weeks or so and then observe your sex drive, level of energy, etc.

If it remains to be the same please get your hormone levels checked and if there is no irregularity then visit a psychiatrist.

Best wishes
