What Causes Lump At The Back Of Shoulder?

My mother is having a lump at back of right shoulder which is soft with regular margins and her pain is radiating at back of skull. she had this same lump few days back with severe radiating pain at back of skull but it got right after few days? what does it indicate?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. She may have some soft tissue tumor like lipoma, neurofibroma or dermatofibroma. Or she may have some benign cyst like sebaceous cyst. She should go for examination and if needed go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump. It will give you exact diagnosis.
