What Causes Lump At The Back Of Skull When Diagnosed With Epilepsy?

I have a lump at the back of my skull. It is very small and can get tender at times. Most of the time I forget it is there but during times of stress and when I feel tired it becomes irritated and itchy and occasionally pulsates. I am nervous because I have epilepsy and this may have been from a fall. Either way I just dont know if this is something worth bringing up at my next appointment.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

This lump at back of skull could be lipoma or cyst or hematoma but it will require clinical examination of the lump to diagnose properly.

Without examination,it will be difficult for any doctor to comment exactly.Medical investigation generally not required for that. However, after removing the lump, the tissue is sent for histopathological examination.

I do not think it is having any relation with your epilepsy,so you should not bother about it.

Visit some nearest surgeon's clinic and he will do the diagnosis.
