What Causes Lump Behind Ear And Headache?
step daughter just spent the weekend with us. she had been sick since Monday and not taken to doctor. We took her. While she was at the doctor, we found out her boyfriend was in the hospital with viral meningitis. That doctor wasn t concerned because she had no fever. Her symptoms were headache, nausea and back pain. Today, there is a lump that has appeard behind my ear. I have a headache, but I am prone to migraines. My husband just returned home from work and I showed him...he proceeded to show me HIS. That side of my head feels like it is burning. Trying not to overreact, but my son and myself both have compromised immune systems and I just needed to bounce it off somebody

Headache and lump behind the ear may be due to lymph node enlargement or acute otitis media with mastoiditis or boil etcetera. It may be viral or bacterial until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
