What Causes Lump Behind Right Ear?

hi i have just been to the walk-in and have been told i need a urgent referal to the ear nose and throat department as i have a mass behind my right ear this has me really worried :( could you please give me some more information. am i worrying for nothing. thank you

can be lymph gland draining from some organ the source is to be detected.behind ear is mastoid and can have mastoiditis. if it is inside ear it can be furunculosis. but non of them require urgent referral. can have symptomatic treatment and with subsequent referral.
