What Causes Lump In The Chin?

Hello, My boyfriend has a very small hard movable ball under his skin on his chin. It is not noticeable when you look at his chin, you can only feel it. It doesn t hurt when he or I move it, however we want to know what it is and how to remove it. I have poked it with a needle but it does no good other than makes him bleed. At first we thought it was an ingrown hair but now we believe it is something else.

Hello, Thank you for consulting with HCM.
As you are mentioning that your boyfriend is having a hard movable ball under his chin, which is unnoticeable and even it does not hurt then it can be just a lymph node which is situated below the chin. As it is a normal structure of the body which becomes slightly enlarge in cases of infection of throat or any tooth.
So according to me you should visit a good dentist and get it examined for any infection.
Hope it will help you.
