Welcome to health care magic.

1.Lump in groin area with collection within - its infective aetiology, possibly hair follicular infection.
2.In this case as a remedy - keep area hygiene, do not squeeze the lumps, scratch as you will complicate in that way. Clean with antiseptic liquid.
3.There is nothing to do with periods and your medication, its localised infective features.
4.A course of antibiotic would help in this condition.
5.Stop shaving for a while until completely heals, as it will cause irritation, use trimming instead. Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query.
