Welcome to health care magic.

1.Lump in the groin region, pain less - the possible cause will be lymph nodal enlargement.
2.Lymph nodal enlargement is seen in case of any infection / inflammation / malignancy.
3.It could be localised or systemic cause which can cause the lymph nodal enlargement. So any ill ness you are aware of get treated.
4.The investigation oc choice will be examining the lump and ask for a ultrasound examination.
5.Ultrasound will help to know the nature of the lump, its source and extensions. If required an FNAC - fine needle aspiration cytology to assess the nature of the cells involved.
6.Sugget to get appointment with your GP, get examined, investigated and treated accordingly. good luck.

Hope i have answered your query,
