Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Lump Like Feeling In The Right Testicles While Having Epididymitis?
Good Day! I have just went through 3rd check-up yesterday for the pain in my testicle, the findings on the physical exam was Orchitis & Epedidymitis. But it shows in the ultrasound that my testicles are normal. I usually feel and notice some lumps in the lower back part of my right testicles prior and during ejaculation. And there is slight pain at the back of the right testis which comes and goes. The urologist had prescribed me Reparil Dragees, Divido, Cipromax and Proxana Plus. I would like to ask regarding your assessment regarding my condition, and do I need to worry? and how come in ultrasound it shows normal where in fact I am experiencing this pain and lumps. Hoping for your reply on my query.. Thanks and more power.
I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms are suggestive of orchitis and epididimitis. But, the normal ultrasound does not support this diagnosis. For this reason, I recommend checking inflammation tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
Cardiologist
