What Causes Lump Near Clitoris While On Mirena?

Hi doctor,

I'm a 24 year old female that just gotten over a chest cold, I was prescribed a z pack and it was cleared up. My question to you is, tonight after sex I was cleaning myself up and I notices a lump under skin, not attached to skin, next to my clitorus. When I touched it, it felt a little squishy and hard. It moved when I touched it. It doesn't present anywhere else just there.

I'm freaking out and wonder if it's something to rush to a gyno about. Also I'm on mirena so I didn't know if that had any effect as well.

Please help!!!

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to an enlarged lymph node or a bartholin cyst. Examination with a gynecologist is well appreciated to rule out the condition. If lymph node then it can be due to infection. Even some respiratory viral infections gives such picture. If it is bartholin gland cyst and if pain is there by giving warm towel application you might get relief. If this persist longer then excision is advised also.
