What Causes Lump Near Collarbone?

Hi I have a lump(gumball size) just above my left collar bone on the bottom of my neck? It does not hurt. Should I be worried about it as far as cancer? I have a history of smoking. I am a vegetarian and do have both of my nipples pierced if that matters.
