What Causes Lump On Both Ankles?

I have a swelling/lump on both ankles for about the past 5 years. The one on the right is definitely growing larger and looking quite unsightly. I have shown it both to my doctor as well as my podiatrist and none of them know what it is. I think it is a lipoma and I would like to know which medical specialist I should see about i t.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have soft tissue tumour like lipoma, neurofibroma, dermatofibroma or some other tumour. You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly. Surgical excision is the treatment of choice for most of the soft tissue tumour. You should consult your general surgeon and take treatment accordingly.
