What Causes Lump On Forehead?

My 7 year old son has a lump on his forehead. He hasn t had a fall or injury. The mass is soft to the touch and almost feels squishy like there is fluid underneath. Although I know there s no flyid. Is more like fatty tissue that s swollen. Went to Urgent care they suggested a steroid and benedryl.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. HEe has soft lump on forehead. It feels like fatty tissue inside. It can be due to lipoma, dermoid cyst or some other lesion. He should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump.
It will give you exact diagnosis. Then he should take treatment accordingly.
