What Causes Lump On Inner Wrist In An Infant?
My 11 month old daughter has a hard lump on the inside of her wrist at the base of her thumb where wrist meets arm. We took her in a month ago. Our pediatrician said not to worry that she just has a prominent wrist bone. Well, it appears to have grown in size. We have an appointment tomorrow - a different pediatrician for a second opinion. Could this be cancerous? Is there a way I can attach a picture of it? I am beside myself with fear and anxiety.

Ganglion cyst is a fluid-filled lump under the skin. It is often found over a joint or in a tendon in the hand or wrist. Children of all ages can get ganglion cysts. Usually it goes away by it own.
