What Causes Lump On Left Hand Side About 2 Inches From Ribs?

I have a small lump on left hand side about the size of a small marble. about 2 inches from bottom ribs. feels very sharp when pushed I can wiggle it around slightly had it a long time now .I have been to the doctors he briefly touch it and said its nothing should I go back.

Your description of the lump is suggestive of a lipoma. It is a benign mass of fatty origin which lies between the skin layer and muscle layer. It is non cancerous and won't produce any symptoms in most of the time. If you feel any any discomfort with it, then please visit your surgeon and he will excise it by a simple procedure.
