What Causes Lump On Right Butt Cheek?

I have a lump on my right butt cheek. It does not have a head on it or look like a pimple. It is the same color as my skin, but it is a hard knot. It has been there for 3 months now. Painful when hit or sitting for long periods of time. What could this be and should I be worried?

Hi,
This could be a sebaceous cyst that has become hardened and calcified. It may be inflamed which is why it has been painful. I suggest you need to have it examined to confirm the diagnosis. If it proves to be a cyst, it can be surgically removed fairly easily.
