Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband has a soft lump on his back beside his spine, and its right in the upper middle of his back. It is not painful at all, nurse looked at it at work said nothing was in it. Its been there for months, and is about the size of a half a dollar, maybe a little bigger. What do you think it could be? also he is a diabetic, he drinks quite a bit beer not liquor.
Hello madam, welcome to medical care magic. If it is movabl ejust on the skin, then it is due to sweeling caused by sebeaceous gland. If it is fixed say continuity with the spine, then little serious. Better take advice from a surgeon. With this I hope I cleared your doubts. Take care
