What Causes Lump On The Head Where Tumor Was Removed?

I had surgery two weeks ago to remove a 2" begin tumor on the right side of head behind the temple. Most of the swelling has gone, but I have a golf size lump with what is clearly liquid in it where the tumor use to reside. How long does it take to get this to go down? Can I get it drained? If i do get it drained will it return?

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern. You may have some cystic lesion. It will not cured byIitself. No need to drain. Because after draining there are high chance of recurrence. You should go for complete anucleation of cyst. Complete removal might help you.
