What Causes Lump Under Left Rib Cage?

I have a lump under my left rib cage I ve had it for about eight years now I ve been to dr but they say it s a pierce of fat tissue when it comes out I can t move until I push it back under when I push it back under it takes a few min to second then you can feel it pulsating Where it comes out it s very tender to the touch the only thing the doctors have noticed was tearing where it comes out can you please tell me what test they can do to find out what it is I ve been losing a lot of weight too

Hi,
A fatty tissue collection in the form of Lump is called Lipoma. It doesn't cause any harm except for the cosmetic reason. If there is pain, increase in size, redness or any other changes, it is better to get it removed.

Please consult a General surgeon, and get examined. They can give you the right plan.
