Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

Most probably you may be having herpes zoster. Kindly consult the dermatologist immediately. It is a viral skin disease caused by VZV virus. It is characterised by painful, burning vesiculopapular lesions in clusters on one side of the body in zonal fashion. It is an emergency. You should be treated properly by expert dermatologist.

I would suggest..

- antiviral like acyclovir 800 mg 5 times a day for two weeks
- pain killer like ketorolac
- steroid in tappering dose
- silver sulfadia sine cream

Have patience..do not worry. You may be alright in few weeks after proper treatment.

Thanks.
