What Causes Lumps Around Ear And Down The Neck?

I was diagnosed with conjunctivitis 2 days ago, got drops, lumps then formed around my ear and down my neck, I revisited the doctor and was diagnosed with sinus - given antibiotics by mouth and further eye drops, 4 days on my face is very swollen, sore and deformed looking. Is this normal? Age 36, height 5.6, weight 7.5 stone
