What Causes Lumps Around Outer Lips After Taking Antibiotics?

Hi, My outer lips at the top and around the edge are itchy got some vagasil to stop the itching as i was smearing it on i have noticed a few lumps on both sides of my outer lips as well, just finished a course of antibiotics as well, what could cause this?

Thanks for the query.

You might have developed herpes labialis.

This is viral infection.

It usually follows any stressful event like infection or use of antibiotics.

You need treatment with topical anti viral like acyclovir.
