What Causes Lumps In Armpits?

After suffering a cold/flu which presented itself with a loss of voice followed by constant coughing. Then typical aches and shivers, I have started to feel better. 2 weeks on I have developed lumps under each arm pit .. Lymph nodes?? I am a little concerned ..

hi.

looks like you had a recent history of an upper respiratory tract infection. and yes, there's a possibility that the "lumps" in your armpits are lymphadenopathies secondary to the occurrence of infection. it would eventually resolved once the primary cause has resolved. if there's persistence, a consult with your physician will be better.
