What Causes Lumps In The Ear With An Enlarged Parotid Gland?
Dear Doctor... i have lump around 2 cm behind my left year from 3 days now.. i went to see a doctor and he mentioned that my parotid gland and salivary glands are slightly enlarge(3mm). they gave me a antibiotic but my lump is still there , pain come and go . i had chest pain , not now.. i feel that lymph node of my left arm also swollen , pain come and go.. i had a unprotected sex with a lady 16 days a go.. is this a sign on HIV infection. i do not have headache or fever .. No rash.. No diarrhea.. i am so confuse and cant sleep.. please help me ..
Lump can be due to infection in parotid gland or submandibular gland. Continue antibiotics and anti inflammatory agents for few more days. If it still persists then visit a doctor.
