What Causes Lumps On Head In Children?
Hi Doc please help me my child has boils in her head, she had 3 lumps which have popped and noe she has something like a wound thats dry in those 3 places and then they sweat and make other small lumps in the same place and she has other two in he body, one under her umpit and the other at the back, what should i do and is it really boils or it might be something serious than that?.

I studied your query in all the details put forth by you.
I understood your health concerns about the treatment for lumps on head in child.
Cause of the lumps on head of child-
The facts of your query means -that the lump is due to the many causes and needs to be fixed by consulting Er Dermatologist /Er Surgeon/Peadiatrician or PCP doctor.
It could be partially healed out boils which recur due to growth in pent up infected secretions in the drained and crusted boils.
Occurence of one on back and one in armpit confirms it being boil,which has mostly staph aureus ,which is highly contagious infection causing boils by spread by contact.
Other causes as -ringworm / lice with bacterial infection needs to be ruled out and hence your doctors second opinion is suggested as above.
This would help you to plan treatment with your ER Dermatologist or with PCP doctor.
